For Zephyr and Stone designers, Ania and Kasia, to get their tick of approval a product must be both aesthetically beautiful and functional. So, when it came to specifying materials for the façade of their #Coastal2Ways set 500 metres from the ocean, they wanted a quality product that was durable enough to withstand harsh sun and salt spray.

The beautifully designed duplex showcases 116 40 x 80 mm DecoBattens, all finished in the renowned timber-look powder coating, DecoWood, to create a show-stopping design statement.
The clean lines of DecoBatten expands across both the homes serving as screening device for the front windows. Finished in natural Curly Birch from the Contemporary Native range by DecoWood, the marine grade and UV resistant qualities of the powder coating make it the ideal choice for external applications in a coastal environment.
Additionally, being a finished product, the battens do not require the maintenance of painting or staining, making it ideal for holiday homes, rental properties or busy households who want more time to relax on the weekend.
