Bringing the statement stone trend to life

05 October 2022

Artedomus has just introduced four stunning new colourways of MAXIMUM porcelain panels to its collection.

From intricate veining to touch-me textures, characterful stone is an enduring design trend, with designers constantly finding exciting new ways to use it to bring luxury and personality to residential and commercial spaces.

With high-performance porcelain panels, such as Fiandre’s MAXIMUM range at Artedomus, just about anything is possible.

Recreating the beauty of natural stone in a highly durable, low-maintenance finish, porcelain panels can be used just about anywhere inside and outside, including floors, ceilings, living spaces, kitchens, bathrooms, joinery and facades, opening up the way for limitless design possibilities.

MAXIMUM porcelain panels are lightweight and quick to install, extremely hardwearing, and water, UV, scratch, stain and heat-resistant. They don’t require any time-consuming sealing and are a breeze to look after. They are environmentally friendly too, crafted from all-natural materials such as clay, quartz and sand that are pressed together in the same way as real stone to create a virtually impenetrable surface, with no chemical binders.

The four new styles are: Viola, Damascato, Roccia, and Luna.

Evoking the magnificent deep-red tones and dramatic patterning of Calacatta Viola marble, Viola porcelain panels feature complex and intriguing burgundy veining against a warm white background. This show-stopping finish is guaranteed to make a statement wherever it goes, whether it’s a kitchen splashback, a bathroom benchtop or shower wall, a custom coffee table or even outdoors.

With a dark mineral background punctuated by pale golden stripes, Damascato recreates the breathtaking beauty of lava stone. Use to add drama and character to a bathroom, to create a striking feature wall or floor in an entry, or to add contemporary flair to an entertainer’s terrace.

Soft and tactile to the touch, Roccia replicates the subtle patterning and finish of textured stone. A captivating finish on a façade, particularly when paired with complementary materials such as timber or bric or appealing addition to a modern-country or urban kitchen.

With its warm, golden tones and earthy texture, Luna brings to life the beauty of richly textured limestone, but in an easy-care, quick-to-install finish. Light-enhancing by nature, use it to maximise the sense of space in a small kitchen or bathroom, while adding a cosy and welcoming feel; or as flooring or a feature wall in a living room with nature-drawn tones of mustard, terracotta or green.

With super-size panels up to 3000 x 1500 x 6mm and 3200 x 1500 x 12mm available, join-free finishes across large surfaces can be created. And with panel thicknesses ranging from 6 to 12mm, you have the option to create slender edging for a sleek, contemporary look or give your benchtops a more substantial look and feel (6mm thickness is also ideal for flooring).

MAXIMUM porcelain panels also allow you to boost the hygiene of your home or commercial space, without lifting a finger. Revolutionary ACTIVE 2.0 coating can be applied to all MAXIMUM panels – an invisible and permanent surface with antiviral, antibacterial and anti-odour properties. Panels treated with ACTIVE 2.0 coating are self-cleaning, which means less time spent maintaining your interior or exterior, plus they reduce indoor nitrogen oxide and VOC levels to help you create healthier spaces.
