<p>Seeing as nobody else has chimed in!<br /><br />I dont know any good builders in Brisbane, but we did heaps of homework before we chose. Found builders who built in the style we liked, checked out their Facebook pages, read around all over the internet to get some info about everyone elses experience with them.<br /><br />Definitely need to read the feedback online with a bit of perspective.....seems like there are just as many unrealistic clients as there are careless builders, but some builders obviously care less about their customers and quality than others though and its obvious which ones.<br /><br />We also found it really useful to get our hands on a few quotes and compare them carefully, talk to the builders about what was in the contracts......start to notice what a difference little details can make (PC items etc). We ended up looking at three builders, and ended up paying a bit mroe for a local guy with a really solid reputation and the right attitude, glad we did!</p>
<p>Thanks Lucio - I think that we are in a different market though.</p><p>I'm looking for a building company (the sort you find in display home villages) and want to know if anyone has experience with these companies in Brisbane.</p><p>Some of the companies I am thinking about are:</p><ul><li>Dixon Homes</li><li>McCarthy Homes</li><li>Hotondo</li></ul><p>Anybody with experience from these companies?</p>
<p>I had an experience to build my home with Thompson Sustainable homes building company at Fitzgibbon in 2015 June- October. NEVER DO IT AGAIN AND , lots of problems, defects, still not fixed, will go to QBCC, hope they will help me, can contact me for more info, </p>
