Hi,

That is a great idea, Monier had a similar system that they bought in the early 1980's they were made from aluminium and then colourbond material, the key to getting them to work effectively was to keep the gutters almost level, another improvement in the design was to put small corrugations in the face of the curve to improve the coanda effect from 80% of roof rain water collection to almost 90% - handy with tank water collection areas only with bushfire regions.

The gutters still collected dust and dirt and needed annual maintenance to keep the water clean so the top could 'pop' off allowing access.

Hope all goes well with your gutter system it looks good.

Andrew
