<p>If its an invesment property only, there are 2 questions you need to ask yourself I think:</p><ol><li>Am I going to be able to rent it out for more money with a new pool? If the answer is no - then forget about it. If the answer is yes - how much more and is it worth the increased $ investment on the property.</li><li>Am I planning on selling the investment soon and would the pool increase the sale price substantially?</li></ol><p>I think the decision need to be purely practical and financially based - do not get emotionally involved in an investment property.</p>
