Mate I am no handyman but I have seen the thing you are talking about I think...polystyrene? I believe they were saying about the sound 'proofing' of it? Anyway seeing as you have had an outpouring of answers I'll try to help man...It is polystyrene so I'm assuming its pretty light...? I reckon contact would be fine. Even the rubbish spray on stuff. UNLESS there is a noted chemical reaction with the poly - which leads me to say what I should have started with! Find an MSDS for the poly your using (or any poly...unless it has additives that's all it is...?) and the MSDS should have the correct fixing goop.

Out of interest what are you trying to achieve...? Cheers

Thanks you right but even so I requested MSDS from manufacturers it is hard to come by . There seems to be a veil of mystery surrounding the use of this in external walls. So far as I know Kignspan given the exclusive dealership to Dulux to market that product. Goes without saying it is very expensive. But you right seems like in England they use sprays for fix then and then mechanical fixings.

Thanks anyways
