Sounds disgusting.

Has the water continued to flow since you unblocked it?

If it has continued to flwo, then I recommedn you do nothing, and next time you need a plumber in the house for any other reason, get them to check it out for you.

If it has blocked up again, call a plumber now! Get him to come in and snake the drain to clear the blockage permanently.

Yeah.... gross.

Saw (and smelled) something similar once when my mate tried to flush something 'inappropriate' down the toilet in his apartment - not something you forget in a hurry.

Dunno - maybe it's the memories talking but I'd still be tempted to call in a plumber.

Argh ...

It's done it again.

I've just called a plumber to hopefully fix it for good!

If there is continuous blocking then there was unavoidable smell in your toilet. So you can called a good plumber and correct them.
